If he does not accept this post, he will find himself with a new director between him and management, but he will also be taking a step backwards. What will the effects be on someone who is used to working so independently?<\/p>\n<p>R.B. does not have a clear view of the situation and feels very demotivated; he is even thinking of resigning. Management does not want R.B. to leave and offers the support of a coach to help him take his decision.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, management has also asked to be supported in the implementation of the new structure. The partners, as well as their future partner, would like to be supported by a coach to define a win-win collaboration project.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the support phase was to clarify, analyse and explore the stakes and respective objectives of each person. The second phase consisted of defining a collaboration agreement in order to formulate everyone\u2019s commitments.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Management Committee support&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>The general management of the Benelux subsidiary of a major French company decided to provide support for its Management Committee to help it \u201cfunction better\u201d.\u00a0 Two years ago, this subsidiary\u2019s organisation was changed: these changes led to different business lines being grouped together and the \u201cnew\u201d Management Committee of the Benelux subsidiary is now composed of 10 members of different nationality (Holland, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium, France). This committee meets once a month and everyone is required to work together without really knowing each other.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to this support, the Management Committee has been able to improve its performance by developing team co-operation and cohesion, in order to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>overcome the cultural differences associated with nationality and the different business lines;<\/li>\n<li>adopt a global approach towards the group, grouping together the business lines and the Benelux teams;<\/li>\n<li>learn to get to know each other better in order to better understand one another and to communicate despite the geographic distance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Support for the reorganisation of the sales department&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]The general management of the Benelux subsidiary of a major French company wanted to reorganise its sales department, which was to be managed by a new director. The aim of this support was to create a united, dynamic and enthusiastic team which could co-operate and find a synergy with the marketing department.<\/p>\n<p>This reorganisation was a real challenge given that it would have an impact on business and people management (change of management and taking up new positions).<\/p>\n<p>This support allowed the team to (re)discover itself, accept itself as it was despite the differences (cultural, professional, personality), get rid of the labels and anything unsaid. She \u201cfeels frustrated\u201d at not understanding everything and believes that she does not have the means, or even the ability, to optimally assume her new role. Her hierarchy does not understand her negative attitude because it considers her to be highly skilled. She has attended a variety of communication and assertiveness training courses. Despite all, she has difficulty in asserting herself and adopting a solid position within the team. By constantly managing other people\u2019s urgent requests, she neglects her own priorities and does manage to respect her schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Coaching has allowed E. to take a step back, learn how to listen to her own needs and find ways to change her behaviour, while respecting herself, others and the company\u2019s requirements. The coach taught her to try out different methods of behaviour.
